lands

the

leading

the
Mississippi
River.

and,
beyond the anomaly of
Crowley's Ridge
storms south in the Gulf,
the problem of getting across to Little Rock, adjacent to the foothills of the Ozarks --
somewhat sketchy accommodations,
an eccentric automatic teller, and
another fabuloso Mexican dinner! As the night echoes with suspicious sounds yet nevertheless earthly delights, dream of the 67th day of summer, high down 1 to 90 (same as Memphis, but no doubt much less humid) back home (Maryville, 81; Little Rock, 89)...
