January 1 - Ahead and Behind Again

Well, here we are (continuing from markalburger2016.blogspot.com) as Antony -- Cleopatra asleep, but a wonderful first day of 2017.  How wonderful?  A fiery home celebration of a decidedly uncertain year, potentially very dark from January 20 and beyond for... will it have to be four years or (horror-of-horrors) eight?  And y'all thought 2000-2008 were compromised...

Work on The Opus Project presents Opus 49: Orations / Ovations (8pm, Saturday, January 28, 2017, Center for New Music, 55 Taylor Street, San Francisco), including putting out the call for participation, and indeed even the schedule for the year, as at bottom...

Happy New Year!

Thanks for four years of exciting Opus Programs, an unprecedented series in time and place!

All of these Saturday presentations feature 5pm rehearsals, 7:30 pizza breaks, and 8pm concerts, as follows--
