May 28 - Escape

Off on a cross-country road trip -- the first in decades -- having finished up grading for the semester and The Decameron: Eighth Day, Op. 266: Novel II - The Priest of Varlungo Lies with Monna Belcolore (20 pages total), and

sent monthly remittances.

discover that Harriet's wallet is AWOL.  Begin the tedious process of cancelling cards,

break for a sober dinner, and

return to an email with the title bar "Found Wallet"!  Jane Evgenia discovered it in a Beowawe stall (probably the next one in).  She and her husband waited for an interval, hoping for our return, then continued heading east on their trip back from Napa / Tahoe.  With research online, she found Tisha on Facebook, a link to Goat Hall Productions, Harriet's email address, and voila!  We determine to rendezvous with them in Salt Lake City tomorrow, and are treated to a much more peaceful night's sleep, on the 58th day of summer, high up 4 to 84 (Reno, 88 / Elko, 80)...
